We at TravelEast take your privacy seriously. Who are we?
Data Controller: TravelEast LLC, 440 Brooklyn Ave, Brooklyn, New York, USA (“TravelEast”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
We are a travel content and comparison platform. We do not issue tickets or operate transport/accommodation. When you follow a link or use an embedded booking widget, you contract directly with that third-party provider, who becomes an independent controller of your data.
Some terms that we use in this Privacy Policy
Personal Data: Any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to an individual.
Data Controller: Decides why and how Personal Data is processed (that’s us for our Website; third-party providers are controllers of their own services).

Who do we share your Personal Data with and why?
Independent Controllers (you contract with them directly):
Travel providers & platforms (e.g., flight, hotel, car, transfer companies) when you use their widget/website. They handle booking details, payments, identification, etc., under their privacy policies.
Advertising/analytics platforms (when you consent to marketing cookies), for ad measurement and personalization.
Processors (act on our instructions):
Hosting & cloud (site operation, storage).
Analytics & performance (aggregate usage, crash/error logging).
Email & CRM (send newsletters/updates if you opt-in).
Security & anti-fraud (protect site and users).
Support tooling (manage and respond to your requests).
We require processors to sign data protection terms and to keep your data secure. We do not sell Personal Data.
How long do we store your Personal Data?
Website logs / analytics: typically up to 24 months in identifiable form, then aggregated or deleted.
Account data: while the account is active and up to 24 months after last activity, unless you delete earlier.
Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe; minimal proof-of-consent kept as required by law.
Support threads: typically 3–4 years (claims/defense timelines).
Cookie preferences: per cookie life or until you reset.
We may retain data longer where required to comply with legal obligations or to establish/exercise/defend legal claims.
